1. India becomes 1st country in world to identify need for action for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

• Dr Harsh Vardhan, launched the operational guidelines for Integration of NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease) with NPCDCS (National Programme for Prevention & Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke.
• Vision of the Government is to move from Diagnostic Cure to Preventive Health             

        

2. L&T delivers 100th K9 Vajra howitzer to Army

• Army Chief Gen Manoj Naravane on Thursday flagged off the 100th K9 Vajra tracked self-propelled howitzer built by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) at its armoured system complex at Hazira in Gujarat.
• L&T said the howitzers were delivered with more than 80% indigenous work packages and above 50% indigenisation (by value) 
  
  
  

3. China emerges as India’s top trade partner in 2020

• China has pipped the United States to emerge as India’s biggest trade partner in 2020 yet again. This despite the rise in anti-China sentiment in India amid months of conflict between the two neighbouring nations at the Ladakh border along the Line of Actual Control (LAC)
