1. Isro develops joint earth observation satellite mission radar with Nasa

  • The radar is capable of producing extremely high-resolution images
  • Isro has developed a Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR), capable of producing extremely high-resolution images for the mission.


2. Telecom Secretary Anshu Prakash Inaugurates An Online Certification Course On 5G Technology

  • Government of India is conducting the first of its kind 36-hour (12 week) online 5G Certification Course to train and certify Officers of Government of India
  • this course would act as a capsule programme for learning overall 5G technology from the perspective of Policy making


3. Indian Oil Corp, IDCO sign MoU for Paradip Plastic Park in Odisha

  • Around 26 units are expected to come up at the plastic park with an estimated investment of Rs 500 crore and it is likely to generate 6,000 direct and indirect employment
  • An incentive of Rs 2000 for each metric tonne of polypropylene granules from Paradip Refinery shall be offered to the manufacturing units located in the Paradip Plastic Park till March 31, 2030.


4. DRDO successfully reaches milestone in developing air independent propulsion system for submarines

  • The AIP has a force multiplier effect on lethality of a diesel electric submarine as it enhances the submerged endurance of the boat several folds.
  • The system is being developed by Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
