1. NTPC Conferred ‘Role Model’ Award At 11th CII National HR Excellence Award 2020-21

  • This award is the highest level of recognition in the field of Human Resources by Confederation of Indian Industry. Since the institutionalization of CII National HR Excellence Award,
  • This is only the second time when the award of Role Model has been conferred to any organization. NTPC is the only PSU to have received this prestigious award.


2. UNESCO teams up with Toonz Media, USO India for water conservation programme

  • Teamed up for a creative water conservation awareness programme for students.
  • The animation videos created by students will be unveiled on March 22, the World Water Day as part of the H2Ooooh! – Waterwise Program for school students conducted in partnership with National Mission for Clean Ganga, United Schools Organization India (USO India), Water Digest magazine and Toonz Media Group.


3. Haryana passes bill to recover property damage from protesters

4. India-US forum launches Artificial Intelligence initiative

5. IRDAI Guidelines on Arogya Sanjeevani product

  • Arogya Sanjeevani is the standard health insurance product which offers a medical coverage to families and individuals with respect to the basis hospitalization expenses. It also covers the Covid-19 treatment expanses
  • The insurers have offered the sum insured to rupees 50,000 under the Arogya sanjeevani product with no upper limit because of rising covid-19 cases and healthcare costs. 
  • Most of the insurers were not offering the Arogya Sanjeevani policy above the maximum original limit of rupees 5 lakh.
