1. DRDO develops Advanced Chaff Technology to safeguard naval ships from missile attack.

• Chaff is a passive expendable electronic countermeasure technology used worldwide to protect naval ships from enemy’s radar and Radio Frequency (RF) missile seekers.
• The importance of this development lies in the fact that very less quantity of chaff material deployed in the air acts as decoy to deflect enemy’s missiles for safety of the ships.

2. Dr. Chintan Vaishnav appointed as mission director of Atal Innovation Mission.

• AIM’s mission is to create and promote a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country.

3. India win 21 medals including 5 golds in Dubai Para Badminton International.

• Pramod Bhagat wins gold in singles and doubles in Dubai Para Badminton International.

4. Adani Ports acquires remaining 25% stake in Krishnapatnam Port for Rs 2,800 crore.

• APSEZ's stake in the port will increase to 100 per cent from 75 per cent.

5. NASA ingenuity helicopter has been launched on the surface of Mars.

• Helicopter has been dropped on the surface of Mars in preparation for its first flight.
• The ultra-light aircraft had been fixed to the belly of the Perseverance rover, which touched down on the Red Planet.
