Australia has scrapped the "belt and Road deal" with China and Victoria.

• Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has scrapped the controversial Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) deal.
• It was called inconsistent with Australia's foreign policy.
• Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews blindsided the Federal Government when he first signed the Belt and Road deal with the Chinese government in 2018.

RBI cancels licence of Maharashtra-based "Bhagyodaya Friends Urban Co-operative Bank".

• Bank licence cancelled as it does not have adequate capital and earning prospects.
• More than 98% of the depositors will receive full amounts of their deposits from Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC).
