Indian female boxer "Pooja Rani" has won the gold medal in the Asian Boxing Championship 2021.

• Pooja Rani beat Mavluda Movlonova of Uzbekistan in the women's 75kg final to win the gold.
• She had won her maiden Asian boxing gold in 2019 in the 81kg category.

IIT Ropar institute has developed India's first indigenous device "ambitag" to record temperature.

• "AmbiTAG"- India’s First Indigenous Temperature Data Logger For The Cold Chain Management.
• AmbiTag that records real-time ambient temperature.
• During the transportation of perishable products, vaccines and even body organs and blood.

"IFFCO" introduces world's first "Nano Urea Liquid".

• It has been developed in line with 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Atmanirbhar Krishi' at Nano Biotechnology Research Centre, Kalol, Gujarat.
• Nano Urea is developed to replace conventional urea.
• And can curtail the requirement of the same by at least 50 percent.
• A 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea will replace at least one bag of conventional urea.
• Hence, it will reduce the input cost to farmers.

The Punjab government introduced the "Udaan" scheme.

• Under the scheme, sanitary pads will be distributed free of cost to women and girls in need every month within Punjab.
• The main objective of the scheme is to protect women and girls from menstrual hygiene related diseases,
• And spread awareness about menstrual hygiene.

Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launches "Horticulture Cluster Development Programme".

• In a pilot phase, the programme will be implemented in 12 horticulture clusters covering 11 states/UTs.
• expected to attract an estimated investment of INR 10,000 crore when implemented in all the 53 clusters
• The programme will benefit about 10 lakh farmers.
