  • The neighbouring country claims average income at $2,227, higher than India’s $1,947 in FY21.
  • In 2007, the per capita income of Bangladesh was half of that of India.
  • In the financial year 2020-21, Bangalesh recorded a 9 % increase in its per capita income from 2019-20.



"Uttarakhand" govt announces "Vatsalya Yojana" for children orphaned due to Corona.

  • Under the scheme, the government would make arrangements for the education and training of these children till they attain the age of 21.
  • An amount Rs 3,000 per month would be given to them.
  • They will ensure that their share of ancestral property is not sold till they turn adults.
