"Sajan Prakash" becomes 1st Indian swimmer to qualify for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

• Sajan Prakash clocked 1:56:38 in the men’s 200m butterfly event.
• The Olympic qualification cut-off time was 1:56:48.
• Sajan Prakash had recently bagged 200m butterfly gold medal at the Belgrade Trophy swimming competition.

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurates mega quintal capacity "Seed Processing plant at Kathua" District of J&K.

• The move will help in doubling farmers’ income in India.
• The new plant will have 16 lakh seed generation and 24 lakh seed processing capacity.
• The new seed processing plant will cater entire Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir
• And the two adjacent states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

"Shafali Verma" became the youngest Indian cricketer to make her debut in all formats.

• Shafali Verma made her ODI debut at the age of 17 years and 150 days.
• It made her the 5th youngest cricketer overall in the list which is headed by Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

JSCA, SAIL-BSL signed MoU for International Cricket Stadium in "Bokaro" city.

• The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has inked a MoU with SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), for the construction of an International Cricket Stadium in Bokaro city.
• It would be the third international stadium in Jharkhand after Jamshedpur and Ranchi.
