- Gopinath and Lulla are among the 2021 Great Immigrants honourees named by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, a non-profit organisation.
- The Carnegie Corporation of New York Foundation is dedicated to democracy, education, and international peace.

- WAKO India Kickboxing Federation is affiliated to the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO),
- Which is the International Federation for the sport of Kickboxing.
- WAKO has been a provisionally recognised member of the IOC since November 30 2018.
- The full recognition of WAKO will be finally decided by the IOC Session in Tokyo in July 2021.
Indian Navy athlete "MP Jabir" qualifies for Tokyo Olympics in 400m hurdles.
- The 25-year-old Naval sailor hails from Malappuram, Kerala.
- He is currently ranked 34th in the World Athletics' Road to Olympics rankings where 40 athletes qualify.
- Jabir qualified through the World ranking quota where there are 14 spots available.
- MP Jabir will be the 1st Indian male athlete to participate in the 400m hurdles in Olympics.
CRPF signs MoU with C-DAC to train manpower of force in advanced technologies.
- The MoU aims to enhance the technical capabilities of CRPF in advanced areas

India's 2nd largest cricket stadium to be constructed in Jaipur.
- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a financial grant of Rs 100 crores
- To the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) to build India's 2nd-largest stadium in Jaipur.
- The construction work of the first phase of the stadium is expected to take 24 to 30 months.
- An amount of about Rs 290 crore has been estimated for the construction work.
- The proposed stadium will have a 75,000 spectator capacity.
- There will be 40,000 spectator capacity in the 1st phase and the ground will have 44 international level cricket pitches.
