IIT-Kanpur launches Innovation Hub to find solutions for anti-drone technologies.
- Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) has launched a technology innovation center named C3i Hub
- To find cyber security solutions for anti-drone technologies, intrusion detection systems, blockchain and cyber physical systems
- IIT Kanpur's C3iHub is committed to creating a vibrant ecosystem of cyber security start-ups promoting world class innovations.
- About 13 start-ups and 25 research and development principal investigators were selected after a rigorous application process to set up a start-up group in cyber security.

Center approves Rs 750 crore for the 1st Central University of Ladakh.
- The first phase of the university will be completed in four years.
- A Bill will be introduced to amend the Central Universities Act, 2009 to facilitate the formation of a Central University in Ladakh.
- The establishment of this university will help in the spread of higher education in the region.
- The jurisdiction of this central university will cover the entire region of Ladakh including Kargil and Leh.
RBI is planning to launch a central bank digital currency in the near future.
- RBI is currently working towards a phased implementation strategy and examining use cases that can be implemented with little or no disruption
- There is a possibility of pilots operating in the wholesale and retail sectors in the near future.
- High Level Inter-Ministerial Committee constituted by Ministry of Finance in November 2017 to examine the policy and

- India women's forward Bala Devi has been named as the AIFF Women's Footballer of the Year 2020-21
- With young gunman Manisha Kalyan winning the AIFF Women's Emerging Footballer of the Year 2020-21 award.
- This is the 3rd time that Bala Devi has been named AIFF Women's Footballer of the Year.
