DRDO developed advanced chaff technology to protect fighter jets of IAF.

It has been developed to protect fighter aircraft from hostile radar threats.
It is an electronic countermeasure technique used by armies around the world to protect their assets like naval ships and aircraft.
It protects the property from radar and radio frequencies.
Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) facilities at Pune and Jodhpur have jointly developed this advanced chaff technology.

India has launched a technical platform called Unite Aware in collaboration with the United Nations to improve the safety and security of UN peacekeepers.
This initiative is based on the expectation that a complete peacekeeping operation can be visualized, coordinated and monitored on a real-time basis.
The Unite Aware platform was launched when India assumed the presidency of the 15-nation UN Security Council for the month of August.
India has contributed USD 1.64 million for UNITE Aware.
The Unite Aware platform will provide the United Nations Military Personnel (Blue Helmet) with terrain related information in the line of duty.
India has developed the technology platform in partnership with the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations and Department of Operational Support.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal chaired the 5th meeting of BRICS Industry Ministers via video conferencing.
Industry ministers from BRICS countries Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa participated in the meeting.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are home to coral reefs and are rich in marine biodiversity.
In March 2021, two new species of red algae were discovered off the coast of India.
The Umbrella Head algae is a bright green algae with a size of 20 to 40 mm.

Olympian Parattu Ravindran Sreejesh (PR Sreejesh), goalkeeper and former captain of the Indian national hockey team is set to be named as the brand ambassador of adventure tourism in Kerala.
Sreejesh was part of the Indian hockey team that won the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. PR Sreejesh hails from Ernakulam, Kerala.
