Delhi govt launched "Business Blaster" program in schools for entrepreneurship.

  • This program was started with the aim of developing young entrepreneurs at the school level with the aim of providing some seed money to the students to start business.
  • It will be implemented in all government schools of Delhi under Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC).
  • Under the program a seed amount of Rs 2,000 will be provided to the students of class 11 and 12 to start their own business.
  • The program was started under the pilot project at School of Excellence Khichdipur.
  • In this 9 groups of 41 students were formed and they were given a seed amount of Rs 1,000. In this they made huge profits.



Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav inaugurated PRANA Portal.

  • The Union Minister of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav has launched a portal named PRANA,
  • for the regulation of air pollution in 132 cities, on the occasion of International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies in non-attainment cities (NAC).
  • PRANA stands for Portal for Regulation of Air-pollution in Non-Attainment cities.
  • PRANA Portal will help in tracking the progress of the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) to ensure clean air and blue skies for everybody.
  • In 2019, 86 cities ensured better air quality with India’s efforts and in 2020, there were 104 cities.
  • It will help in disseminating information on air quality to the public.
  • It will also provide comprehensive information associated with NCAP program details, progress, city action plans, implementation updates by city/state/ national level agencies, air quality data, and trends, etc.



Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy launched the program "Budjon Ki Baat - Desh Ke Saath".

  • The programme Bujurgon ki Baat–Desh Ke Saath aims at enhancing the interaction between the youth and the elder persons who are 95 years and above and thus have spent around 18 years in India before independence.
  • The video of the interaction should preferably be kept below 60 seconds and can be uploaded at www.rashtragaan.in .
  • The exhibition showcases collection of paintings on the theme of Krishna from various schools of art including Amber, Kangra among other.
  • The Gita Govinda is originally written by the 12th century poet Jayadeya.



Andhra Pradesh govt appointed former SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar as economic advisor.

  • The appointment comes amid the growing concerns over the state’s financial situation which has been badly hit by the Covid pandemic,
  • even as the opposition has been critical over the sops and freebies being distributed by the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy-led state government.
  • Rajnish Kumar’s appointment is expected to help the state government steer through the financially tough juncture.
  • Rajnish Kumar, who retired as the chairman of SBI in October 2020, is an independent non-executive director at Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation.



The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has constituted a task force to improve Internet connectivity in Karnataka.

  • The Centre has constituted a task force to improve internet connectivity in several districts of Karnataka.
  • A MeitY Task Force consisting of officials from National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and Software Technology Park of India (STPI) has started its tour and work in a rapid manner.
  • He will visit every district and meet people.
  • He will also meet state government officials and submit a report to the minister.
