Vanijya Saptah is being celebrated by the Ministry of Commerce from 20-26 September.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is celebrating Vanijya Saptah (Business and Commerce Week) from 20-26 September, 2021 as a part of the Amrit Mahotsav Commemoration of Azadi.
During the week long celebration, the Ministry will organize several programs and events across the country to showcase India as an emerging economic power and green and clean SEZs.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) will organize exporters' conferences and meetings with state governments in all 739 districts across the country as a part of the festival.

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) will observe October 01, 2021 as National Pension System Day (NPS Day).
This campaign has been launched by PFRDA under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to promote pension and retirement scheme for a carefree Azad retirement.
PFRDA is promoting this campaign on its social media platforms with #npsdiwas.

The government has set up an asset management company (AMC) named India Debt Resolution Company Ltd (IDRCL) with a paid-up capital of Rs. 80.5 lakh on an authorized capital of Rs 50 crore.
IDRCL will work closely with National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (NARCL) to clean up bad loans.
Bank of Baroda (BOB), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of India (BOI), Bank of Maharashtra, SBI, Union Bank of India, Canara Bank, Indian Bank and IDBI Bank are the shareholders of IDRCL.
IDRCL is a service company/operational entity that will manage the asset and comprise of market professionals and turnaround experts.
Public sector banks (PSBs) and public FIs will have a maximum stake of 49% while the rest will be held by private sector lenders.
It must be noted that last week, the government had cleared a guarantee of Rs. 30,600 crore for security receipts issued by NARCL.

Ace Indian cueist Pankaj Advani defeated Babar Masih of Pakistan to win the final of IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup 2021 held in Doha, Qatar on September 21, 2021.
This is 36-year-old Advani's 24th world title.
This is his second consecutive major international championship win in a week.
He defeated Amir Sarkhosh of Iran to win the Asian Snooker Championship 2021.

Chetan Bhagat will release his new novel titled 400 Days on October 08, 2021. He has released the cover for the same.
This is the third novel in the Keshav-Saurabh series after The Girl in Room 105 and One Arrange Murder.
The novel is a story of suspense, human relationships, love, friendship, the crazy world we live in and above all, a mother's determination to never give up.
