The world's tallest EV charging station was inaugurated at Kaza, Himachal Pradesh.

• The world's tallest electric vehicle charging station was inaugurated at Kaza village in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh on September 23, 2021.
• The electric vehicle charging station is installed at an altitude of 500 feet.
• The initiative aims to check vehicular pollution and promote electric vehicles for a clean and green environment in the region.

The 1st edition of the Himalayan Film Festival began in Ladakh.

• The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Thakur, inaugurated the first edition of the Himalayan Film Festival to be held in Leh, Ladakh from September 24 to 28, 2021.
• The five-day film festival has been organized by the administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh in association with the Directorate of Film Festivals (DIFF) and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
• The festival has been organized as a part of the celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 75 years of India's independence.
• Popular films from Assam, Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh will be screened at the film festival. In addition, selected Indian panorama films will also be screened during the film festival.

• A bronze statue of Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of bitcoin, has been unveiled in Budapest, Hungary.
• It is the first statue in the world to pay tribute to the mysterious cryptocurrency creator.
• The statue has been unveiled at Graphishop Park, a technology park in Budapest.
• The sculpture is a statue of a man wearing a hoodie with the Bitcoin (BTC) logo engraved on it.
• The bust's featureless face has been sculpted with vague features to represent Satoshi Nakamoto's oblivion.
• It is heavily polished to make it a mirror-like reflector in which the viewer can see himself.

Amitabh Ghosh's novel 'Jungle Naama' released as an audiobook.

• Renowned author Amitav Ghosh's popular novel "Jungle Naama" has been released as an audiobook, with music as well as voice by US-based Ali Sethi.
• Jungle Nama is basically a poem adaptation of an episode of the famous legend of Bon Bibi, a Bengali story popular in the villages of the Sundarbans about the forest goddess Bon Bibi.

Odisha will host the FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup 2021 in Bhubaneswar.

• The prestigious FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup 2021 is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from November 24 to December 05, 2021.
• The tournament will feature 16 teams from India, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Africa, Egypt, Belgium, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, USA, Canada, Chile and Argentina.
• The previous edition of the tournament was also held in Lucknow in India in 2016, where India won the tournament by defeating Belgium in the final.
