India's 1st Atal Community Innovation Center was unveiled at VGU Jaipur.

India's 1st Atal Community Innovation Center (ACIC) has been launched at Vivekananda Global University (VGU) in Jaipur.
It is the 1st center in the country to be set up by the Government of India, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and NITI Aayog.
ACIC aims to support and nurture innovative ideas that can take the shape of big ideas and help transform society for a better tomorrow.
The VGU center will benefit the hardworking, passionate and courageous businessmen of Rajasthan who want to take their business to greater heights.

PM Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation seven new Defense PSUs formed out of OFB on October 15, 2021.
These 7 new companies have been formed after the dissolution of the 200-year-old Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) with effect from October 01, 2021.
There were 41 factories and 9 subsidiary bodies under OFB. Now these factories will be divided into seven newly formed companies.
Along with this, 70,000 employees of these OFBs will be sent to seven new organizations, in which there will be no change in the service conditions of the employees.
The seven new defence PSUs includes:

Munition India Ltd, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Ltd, Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Ltd, Troop Comforts Ltd, Yantra India Ltd, India Optel Ltd, Gliders India Ltd.

India's rank has dropped to 101st out of 116 countries in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021.
In 2020, India was ranked 94th out of 107 countries.
India's GHI score for 2021 has been recorded at 27.5 out of 50, which falls in the severe category.
The Global Hunger Index (GHI) measures and tracks hunger at the global, regional and national levels.
The index is published jointly by Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Concern Worldwide.

The Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, inaugurated the MyParkings app.
The IoT technology-enabled app has been developed by Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) with South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to digitize all authorized parking under SDMC municipal limits.
This facility will later be started in other Municipality Divisions across India.
The main objective of the app is to help reduce pollution by reducing the time spent searching for parking spots.
The MyParking App will offer effortless solution to users for hassle-free parking and booking of online parking slots to park their vehicles without inconvenience.

The Government of India has decided to establish Vishwakarma Vatika at each Hunar Haat to protect, preserve and promote India's glorious heritage of age-old skills of artisans and craftsmen.
The first such Vishwakarma Vatika has been established at "Hunar Haat" in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh from October 16 to 25, 2021.
Vishwakarma Vatika will be inaugurated by the Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan on October 16, 2021.
The new initiative will provide a single stop place to skilled artisans, sculptors, masons, blacksmiths, carpenters, potters and other artisans from across the country to showcase India's traditional arts and crafts and elegant indigenous handmade products live.
The name is derived from the Hindu deity Vishvakarma, who is worshiped as the god of the architect.
