Google acquires Israeli cyber security startup Siemplify for $500 million.

Alphabet Inc-owned Google has reportedly acquired Siemplify, an Israel-based cyber security startup, for $500 million.
The acquisition will expand the US tech giant's security offerings in the country amid rising cyber attacks.
The startup will be integrated into the Google Cloud Platform, specifically its Chronicle operations.
As a part of Google Cloud's security team, Simify will help companies better manage their threat response.
The purchase marks the fourth acquisition by Google of an Israeli company and its first in the cybersecurity industry outside the US.
Siemplify was founded in 2015 by Amos Stern (CEO), Elon Cohen (CTO) and Gary Fatakhov (COO).
It has offices in Tel Aviv and headquarters in New York.
Siemplify specializes in end-to-end security services for enterprises, commonly referred to as security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) services.

Global cryptocurrency app Cryptowire has launched India's 1st cryptocurrency index named IC15.
IC15, which will track the market capitalization and liquidity of the top 15 global digital currencies globally, in terms of market capitalization listed on the world's major crypto exchanges.
The base price of the index is set at 10,000.
The Aadhaar date has been fixed as April 01, 2018.
The index will be maintained, monitored and administered by Cryptowire's Governance Committee, which will rebalance the index every quarter.
Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Solana, Cardano, Ripple, Terra, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu will be monitored by the platform.

Russia recently test-fired about 10 new Tsirkon (Zircon) hypersonic cruise missiles from a frigate and two more from a submarine.
The Zircon missile will be capable of flying more than nine times the speed of sound and will have a range of 1,000 kilometers (620 mi) and can travel at a speed of 8 to 9 Mach, which is 8 to 9 times the speed of sound.
The Tsirkon cruise missile will join the Avangard glide vehicles and air-launched Kinjal (Dagger) missiles in Russia's hypersonic arsenal.
It was the first time Russian officials had reported a successful simultaneous launch test of several Zircon missiles.
The Admiral Gorshkov class frigate and the Severodvinsk, a Yasen-class nuclear-powered submarine, were used to conduct the test-firing.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has included Airtel Payments Bank in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 on January 04, 2022.
Airtel has announced that it’s Airtel Payments Bank has been categorised as Scheduled Bank by the Reserve Bank of India.
Airtel Payments Bank can now bid for Request for Proposals (RFP) and primary auctions issued by the government.
It can also carry on the business of both the central and state government, apart from participating in welfare schemes run by the government.

Puducherry has been selected by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to host the 25th National Youth Festival.
The 25th National Youth Festival is going to be held in Puducherry from 12 to 16 January 2022.
The festival has been organized as part of Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav, which marks the 75th year of Independence.
Around 7000 youth in the age group of 18 to 22 are expected to participate in this festival from across the country. Around 500 youths from Puducherry will participate in the programme.
The Government of India organizes the National Youth Festival as a part of the National Youth Week celebrations.
It is organized with the aim of spreading the concept of national unity, brotherhood, spirit of communal harmony, courage and courage among the youth.
