Indian Navy and Russian Navy conducts PASSEX exercise in Arabian Sea.

Indian Navy and Russian Navy conducted the PASSEX exercise at the port of Cochin in the Arabian Sea.
Indian Navy's indigenously designed and built guided-missile destroyer, INS Kochi participated in the exercise.
The Navy of the Russian Federation was represented by RFS Admiral Tributes.
Two other Russian naval ships were also accompanied by the Russian naval missile cruiser Varyag and the Russian tanker Boris Butoma.
The exercise showcased the cohesion and interactivity between the two navies and included tactical maneuvers, cross-deck helicopter operations and seamanship activities.

The world's largest national flag made of Khadi cloth was displayed to celebrate Army Day on January 15, 2022.
It was displayed at Longewala along the India-Pakistan border in Jaisalmer.
Longewala was the center stage of the historic 1971 war between India and Pakistan.
This will be the fifth public display of the Khadi flag.
70 Khadi artisans prepared this flag in 49 days.
Its construction has resulted in an additional work of about 3500 man-hours for Khadi artisans and allied workers.
