FM Nirmala Sitharaman dedicates to nation "Dharohar" - National Museum of Customs and GST in Goa.

Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman dedicated to the nation, Dharohar - the National Museum of Customs and GST in Panaji Goa.
The two-storey Blue building, which was earlier known as Alfandega, during the period of Portuguese rule in Goa, has been standing on the banks of the Mandovi River in Panaji for more than 400 years.
Dharohar is one of its kind museums in the country that showcases not only the artifacts seized by Indian Customs but also depicts various aspects of work performed by the Customs Department.

Homegrown navigation firm MapmyIndia has collaborated with India's space agency ISRO which will enhance the quality of its 3D maps.
The company is developing new maps as part of its foray into the metaverse.
MapmyIndia users will be able to see vegetation maps or heat maps, air quality maps, and other information on exact locations that are searched by people or on routes of their interest, through the collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

A seven-year-old girl from Punjab's Ropar has created history and made the country proud by reaching the base camp of Mount Everest.
Saanvi Sood has now become the youngest girl in India to wave the Indian flag at the base camp of Mount Everest at a height of 5,364 metres.
Since she is only seven, she was not allowed to go beyond the base camp.

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (UK) overtook Thailand's King to become the world's second-longest reigning monarch in history, after France's Louis XIV.
Queen Elizabeth has overtaken Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who reigned for 70 years and 126 days between 1927 and 2016, to set another record.
Louis XIV of France remains the longest-reigning monarch, with a 72-year and 110-day reign from 1643 until 1715.
Crowned in 1953, Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-serving British monarch in September 2015, surpassing her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed senior Indian diplomat Amandeep Singh Gill as his envoy on technology to coordinate programmes for international digital cooperation.
Amandeep Singh Gill has been India's permanent representative to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva from 2016-to 2018.
Previously, Gill was the Executive Director and Co-Lead of the United Nations Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation (2018-2019).
He was also a visiting scholar at Stanford University.
