India's space economy to be reach $13 bn by 2025.
- As per the report, 'Developing the Space Ecosystem in India: Focusing on Inclusive Growth', India's space economy is expected to touch $12.8 billion by 2025.
- The report was released by the Indian Space Association (ISpA) and Ernst and Young.
- Reason: Increasing private participation, increased demand for small satellites.
- It was also noted that, India has of over 100 space tech start-ups with investments in the segment touching $68 million in 2021..

- Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik has launched an initiative called Football for All with an aim to promote football among school children.

Nitin Gadkari launches Toyota pilot project on Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid EV.
- Nitin Gadkari (Road Transport and Highways Minister) has launched first of its kind pilot project of Toyota on Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicles in India.
- The Toyota Corolla Altis FFV-SHEV, which was imported from Toyota Brazil for the pilot project, was unveiled.
- Flex-fuel:
- It is compatible cars, run on more than one type of fuel and also a mixture.
- These vehicles will run on 100% petrol as well as 20 to 100% blended ethanol and electric power.
PM Modi addressed UN World Geospatial International Congress.
- Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has addressed the 2nd United Nations World Geospatial International Congress (UNWGIC), which being held in Hyderabad.
- The theme of UNWGIC 2022 is Geo-Enabling the Global Village: No one should be left behind.
- Geospatial technology is used to create intelligent maps and models which help to collect geographically referenced data.

Dhoni launches made-in-India "Droni" drone.
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni has launched a made-in-India camera drone named Droni with advanced features.
- This drone was manufactured by Garuda Aerospace.
- The new drone is useful for surveillance and will be available for purchase towards the end of 2022.
- During the event, it was also announced the launch of Kisan Drone, a battery-powered device, aimed at farmers who want to spray pesticides.
