India to participate at AIAF for 1st time in France.
- India is participating at the Annecy International Animation Festival (AIAF) for the 1st time this year in France.

- An Indian delegation led by the Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Apurva Chandra with eminent personalities of the animation industry have been showcasing India's prowess in creating animation and VFX content for global audiences at the AIAF.
- Animation & VFX in India The market was pegged at Rs 109 billion in 2021, with the VFX business alone accounting for Rs 50 billion. This figure is expected to increase to Rs 180 billion by 2024.
IOC to set up aviation fuel plant with LanzaJet in Haryana.
- Indian Oil Corp IOC will set up an 80,000 tonnes sustainable aviation fuel plant with LanzaJet in Haryana.
- The aim of the collaboration is to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
- The investment for the aviation fuel plant is around 23 billion rupees ($280.1 million).
- Sustainable aviation fuel reduces greenhouse gas emissions and mitigates climate change.
- Indian Oil Corporation Limited is owned by the Government of India and operates as a Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

CNG-run toy train inaugurated for the first time in the country.
- Toy train was started once again in Gulab Bagh of Udaipur (Rajasthan), which has been named Maharana Pratap Express train.
- According to the engineer of the toy train, Anirudh Singh Nathawat, this is the country's first CNG-powered toy train.
- The ticket for this toy train operating in Gulab Bagh has been kept at Rs.25 for children and Rs.50 for adults.
- There will be a run of about 2.5 kilometers, and about 150 passengers will be able to enjoy it at a time. Meanwhile, passengers will be able to see the Bird Park, Kamal Talai and hundreds of years old trees.
First Women's Kabaddi League Inaugurated in Dubai.
- The inaugural edition of India's first-ever Women's Kabaddi League (WKL) has been commenced in Dubai on June 16.
- It marks the first time that women kabaddi players from across India have been given the opportunity to exhibit their skills and prowess on a global stage.
- This league consists of eight teams, featuring a total of 96 players, each representing Indian states.
- The victorious team will be awarded a prize of approximately half a million dirhams (1 crore INR).

- NITI Aayog and the United Nations, India has signed the Government of India - United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation (GoI-UNSDC) Framework 2023-2027.
