Chandrayaan 3 Lifts Off For its Journey To the Moon.
- India launched its ambitious Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon.
- The spacecraft launched aboard India’s heaviest rocket, Launch vehicle Mark-III a.k.a LVM3 on a journey to the Moon.
- The spacecraft will complete the 3,84,000 kilometers-long journey in nearly 45 days to attempt a soft-landing on the Moon by end of August.

- Australia appointed Michel Bullock as the first female head of its central bank, replacing outgoing Governor Philip Loew.
- Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Michel Bullock will lead the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) for the next seven years.
- Bullock, 60, joined the RBA in 1985 with a masters from the London School of Economics.
- The Reserve Bank of Australia is Australia's central bank and banknote issuing authority.
- It was established on January 14, 1960.
UAE becomes 1st Arab country to get observer status at money laundering group for Asia Pacific.
- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become the first Arab country to receive observer status in the Asia/Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering, a regional body similar to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
- The UAE is participating as an observer at the plenary session of the APG, which is currently taking place in Vancouver, Canada.
- Obtaining observer status reflects the UAE's commitment to international cooperation in combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
- The UAE delegation attending the APG plenary session is led by Hamid Al Zaabi, Director-General of the Executive Office for Anti-Money
- Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (EO AML/CTF).
- The delegation includes representatives from the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and other government officials.
EIB keen to extend 1 bn euro for green hydrogen, RE projects in India.
- The European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced its support for India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission by offering a loan facility of up to €1 billion.
- The loan aims to assist India in developing its nascent green hydrogen ecosystem and renewable energy projects.

- It is a Central Sector Scheme, which is formerly known as National Action Plan for Senior Citizens.
- Its vision is to create a society where senior citizens live healthy, happy and empowered life.
- The scheme aims to address the financial, healthcare, and social needs of elderly citizens, recognizing their valuable contributions to society.
