Maharashtra secured top spot in 37th National Games 2023.

Maharashtra secured the first position in National Games 2023 and bagged 208 medals including 71 gold.
Services Sport Control Board also continued its second position in medal tally with a total of 117 medals including 59 Gold medals.
Haryana stands at third position with a total of 161 medals including 53 gold medals.
In women's Kabaddi, HP won a gold medal and Haryana got a silver medal.
Female Kho-kho gold was won by Maharashtra and Odisha got a silver medal.

Ganga Utsav was organized in New Delhi in November, 2023.
This was the seventh edition of Ganga Utsav.
This festival was organized by National Mission for Clean Ganga.
Ashok Kumar, Director General of National Mission for Clean Ganga, inaugurated the festival.
Ganga Pustak Parikrama was started in this festival.
This parikrama will run from November 7, 2023 to January 11, 2024.

In November 2023, South American country Chile has become a member of the International Solar Alliance.
Chile has become the 95th member of the International Solar Alliance.
Chilean Ambassador Juan Angulo handed over the instrument of ratification to the Joint Secretary in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
The International Solar Alliance was established during the COP 21 summit.
This summit was held in Paris in the year 2015.
India and France are co-founders of the International Solar Alliance.
Its headquarters is located in Gurugram, Haryana.

As per the decision of November 2023, Bangladesh will host the Asian Archery Championships in the year 2025.
The decision was taken at the World Archery Asia Congress held in Bangkok, Thailand.
A total of 24 member countries from the Asian continent participated in the Congress.
Bangladesh and China had bid to organize the 24th Asian Archery Championship.
When a vote was held in Congress between the two countries participating in the bid, Bangladesh won the vote.
Bangladesh will host the 24th edition of the Asian Archery Championships.
Among its peers, ReNew is closest with 8.3 GW, followed by Tata Power and Greenko Energies with close to 4 GW capacity each.

The Philippines is still part of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Recently it has started exiting this project.
The Philippines government has ended all BRI projects and decided to hand over the work related to the project to Japan and Western countries.
The Senate of the Philippines has said that every investment by China is under suspicion due to economic and political reasons.
China had announced to invest $4.9 billion in the Philippines under the Belt and Road Project.
China had taken a tough stance against the Philippines' patrolling in the South China Sea, over which Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had expressed concern.
Philippines is the second country after Italy to opt out of this project.
The Belt and Road project was launched in the year 2013.
Under this project, China is creating land and sea connectivity between Asia, Europe and Africa.
