Professor Savita Ladage to get Royal Society of Chemistry Prize.

• Professor Savita Ladage from Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, an autonomous institute affiliated to Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, has been selected by the London-based Royal Society of Chemistry to receive its Nyholm Prize for Education.
• A resident of Mumbai, Ladage will be honoured for her contribution to the importance of chemical education.

Shah Rukh Khan topped UK's 2023 South Asian celebrity list.

• Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, referred to as the King Khan of the Indian film industry, has topped a UK list of the 'Top 50 Asian Celebrities in the World'.
• The 58-year-old actor, who had double box-office success this year with action thrillers "Pathaan" and "Jawan", is currently preparing for the Christmas release of comedy drama "Dunki".

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni's iconic No.7 jersey retired by BCCI.

• In honor of MS Dhoni's legacy, BCCI has decided to retire his iconic No. 7 jersey, making it unavailable for future players.
• Following Sachin Tendulkar's No. 10, it's the second jersey to be retired by BCCI.
• Despite retiring from international cricket, Dhoni continues leading Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

Activist Ali Abu Awwad and pianist Daniel Barenboim win Indira Gandhi Peace.

• The Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development for 2023 has been jointly awarded to Daniel Barenboim and Ali Abu Awwad for their efforts in bringing together the youth and peoples of Israel and the Arab World for a non-violent resolution of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
• The International Jury of the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development chaired by former Chief Justice of India T.S. Thakur.

Leander Paes, Vijay Amritraj came in International Tennis Hall of Fame.

• Indian tennis legends Vijay Amritraj and Leander Paes became the first Asian men to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
• It has made India the 28th nation to be represented in the prestigious institution.
• Leander Paes, an 18-time Grand Slam champion in doubles and mixed doubles is honored in the Player category.
• Vijay Amritraj is honored in the Contributor category.
