  • Tamil Nadu’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister T.M. Anbarasan launched Smart Cards for startups.
  • The Smart Card offers a comprehensive selection of products and services at subsidized rates.
  • Startups can significantly enhance and expedite their business growth by making use of the products and services at an affordable cost.


President Droupadi Murmu to inaugurate "Aadi Mahotsav" in Delhi.

  • President Smt. Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Aadi Mahotsav 2024, an annual National Tribal Festival at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi.
  • The event, was organized by TRIFED under the aegis of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
  • The festival will feature with over 300 stalls, offering varied displays of Tribal art, handicrafts, natural produce, and delectable tribal cuisine.


Uttar Pradesh become first state with 21 airports.

  • Uttar Pradesh is all set to become the first state in India to have 21 airports.
  • Uttar Pradesh had only 6 airports in 2014, and now the state has 10 more airports in 2024.
  • By the next month, UP will have 5 more airports, one airport each in Azamgarh, Aligarh, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Chitrakoot.
  • UP government allocated Rs 1,150 crore for the upcoming Noida Airport under Budget 2024-25.

NCPCR, Meta launch nationwide program to help students.

  • The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and Meta have jointly launched a pan-India program to help students manage stress ahead of their exams.

  • In line with the Prime Minister's ParikshaPeCharcha programme, NCPCR is celebrating the sixth edition of ParikshaParv.


Himachal CM unveiled "Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar" initiatives.

  • The chief minister announced the opening of the office of the block development officer in Surani, the division of Jal Shakti department in Jawalamukhi, and the subdivision in Majheen.
  • He also announced the opening of a sub-tehsil in Bhadoli and the opening of Patwar circles in Luthan and Hiran.
  • Jawalamukhi College will be named after freedom fighter Pandit Sushil Rattan.
