Kashmir hosted the first ever "Formula-4" Car race show in Srinagar.

• The race is a collaboration between Formula-4 and the Indian Racing League under the aegis of Kashmir’s Tourism Department.
• The race was scheduled from Lalit Ghat to Nehru Park on the Boulevard covering a distance of 1.7 kilometers.
• Formula 4 race serves as a beacon of hope, symbolizing Kashmir’s potential as a hub for adventure tourism and sporting events.

The "Ras Malai" ranks no.2 In the list of "10 Best Cheese Desserts".

• The first position was bagged by Sernik from Poland, followed by Ras malai from India in the second position.
• Recently, popular food guide Taste Atlas unveiled its list of the 10 Best Cheese Desserts in the world.
• Ras malai is a popular Indian sweet of West Bengali origins Ras means juice and malai means cream.

TM Krishna honoured with Sangita Kalanidhi award.

• Thodur Madabusi Krishna to be conferred with the 2024 Sangita Kalanidhi award by the Madras Music Academy.
• The Sangita Kalanidhi award is considered one of the highest honours in Carnatic music.
• In 2016, he was awarded with the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
• Along with him, Neena Prasad will also be awarded the Nritya Kalanidhi which is Madras Music Academy’s recognition in the field of dance.

J&K government approves 10% reservation for Paharis, new tribes.

• Jammu & Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha has given the green light to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005.
• The amendment includes a provision for 10% reservation for newly-included tribes such as Paharis in the Schedule Tribe (ST) category.
• Additionally, 15 new castes have been added to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) as part of the approved proposal by the Social Welfare Department.

10th edition of Joint Military Exercise "LAMITIYE-2024" in Seychelles.

• The Joint Exercise between the Indian Army and Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) will be conducted at Seychelles from March 18-27.
• LAMITIYE meaning Friendship in the Creole language is a biennial training event and has been conducted in the Seychelles since 2001.
• The exercise will enhance cooperation and interoperability between both sides during peacekeeping operations.
