Chandigarh set to host International film festival.
- The five-day Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) will be held from March 27 to 31 in Chandigarh.
- Actor Boman Irani will inaugurate the event and Cannes winner French film The Taste of Things will be the inaugural film of CIFF.
- The international line-up also has Jonathan Glazer’s Oscar-winning The Zone of Interest.

- An app for Xiaomi’s car has been launched on Apple’s App Store in China.

Japan’s Kaori Sakamoto wins 3rd Straight World Title.
- Kaori Sakamoto won her 3rd straight figure skating world championship Friday in Montreal, becoming the first woman to achieve a singles three-peat since 1968.
- Isabeau Levito of the United States was behind Sakamoto in second place, with South Korea's Kim Chae Yeon scoring 203.59 for third.
- US skater Peggy Fleming was the last woman to achieve the world championship in 1966.
