World’s first Om-shaped temple inaugurated in Rajasthan.

• In the village of Jadan, located in the Pali district of Rajasthan, the world's inaugural temple constructed in the iconic Om shape has been officially inaugurated.
• It is supported by 2,000 pillars and boasts 108 rooms within its premises. At its core lies the tomb of Guru Madhavanand Ji.
• It can accommodate 1,008 idols of Lord Mahadev and 12 Jyotirlingas.

India’s Government e-Market is world’s 3rd largest e-commerce platform.

• The total value of orders placed through GeM in 2018-19 was Rs.17,445 crore, which gradually went up to about Rs.1.07 lakh crore in 2021-22.
• In the previous financial year (FY23), the value of orders (or GMV) was a little over Rs.2.01 lakh crore.
• GeM portal was launched in August 2016.
• Both public and private sector companies can sell their products and services through GeM.

First ever India-made swine fever vaccine by IIT Guwahati.

• This vaccine marks the 1st recombinant virus-based solution for classical swine fever developed in India, offering a swift and cost-effective method for pig vaccination.
• The technology has been transferred to BioMed Pvt Ltd for commercial production of the vaccine.
• States like Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, and Kerala are among the states with frequently observed instances of swine fever.

First ever Nuclear Energy Summit 2024 held in Belgium.

• The summit was Co-chaired by the PM of Belgium Alexander De Croo and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossi.
• It aims to address the global challenges to reduce the use of fossil fuels, enhance energy security, and boost economic development.

Israel Aerospace sets up Indian subsidiary AeroSpace Services India.

• Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), an aerospace and defense company, has opened AeroSpace Services India (ASI), its Indian subsidiary in New Delhi.
• ASI trades in Indian currency and is the sole authorized OEM’s Technical Representative for the entire medium-range surface-to-air Missile (MRSAM) system.
