Dubai Begins construction of "World's Largest" airport terminal.

• Dubai commences construction on a new terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport, with a $34.85 billion investment.
• The terminal is projected to support 260 million passengers annually, significantly expanding upon Dubai International Airport's current capacity.
• Scheduled for a phased completion over ten years, the initial phase will handle 150 million passengers.

Nepal and India host B2B meeting to boost economic partnerships.

Alok Shukla wins Goldman Environmental Prize 2024.

• Alok Shukla was awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize 2024 for stopping 21 coal mines, safeguarding 4.45 lakh acres of Chhattisgarh forest.
• He was the convenor of the Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan and founding member of the Hasdeo Aranya Bachao Sangharsh Samiti.
• In July 2022, the government canceled the 21 proposed coal mines in Hasdeo Aranya, known as the lungs of Chhattisgarh.
