UPI FY24 Performance: Close to Rs 200 Trillion Mark.

• The value of UPI transactions for FY24 reached a record high of Rs 199.89 trillion, a substantial increase from Rs 139.1 trillion in the previous fiscal year.
• In March 2024 alone, UPI transactions soared by 55% in volume, reaching 13.44 billion, and surged by 40% in value to Rs 19.78 trillion compared to March 2023.
• IMPS transactions saw a 17% increase in volume to 581 million transactions.

IREDA hits record loan sanctions & disbursements in FY23-24.

• IREDA achieved record loan sanctions of Rs 37,354 crore and disbursements of Rs 25,089 crore in FY23-24.
• The loan book expanded by 26.71%, reaching Rs 59,650 crore, showcasing a strong year-on-year growth and contribution to the renewable energy sector.

India's defence exports hit record ₹21,000 cr in FY 2023-24.

• India's defence exports crossed ₹21,000 crore for the first time in the 2023-24 financial year, marking a significant growth of over 32% from the previous year.
• This milestone is attributed to various initiatives by the Defence Ministry aimed at boosting domestic defence manufacturing and exports.
