Haryana to launch project to combat air pollution with World Bank.

• Haryana government announced a Rs 10,000-crore project funded by the World Bank to tackle air pollution.
• The project aims to improve air quality in Haryana, starting with the NCR districts and expanding state-wide.
• This encompasses the establishment of a cutting-edge laboratory and the modernization of four existing ones.

Indore sets NOTA record: Over 2 lakh opt for "None Of The Above".

• Congress candidate from Indore, Akshay Kanti Bam, withdrew his nomination on the last day for withdrawal of nomination. BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani has won the seat by 10,08,077 votes.
• NOTA has got 2,18,674 votes.
• The option of NOTA, which stands for None of the Above was introduced in 2013, which gives voters the option to not select any of the contesting candidates.

DoT launches initiative to support MSMEs and Startups in Industry.

• The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched a proposal for an "Industry 4.0 Baseline Survey among MSMEs" to promote digital transformation through 5G/6G technologies.
• The survey aims to understand MSME challenges in adopting Industry 4.0 technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud computing, targeting at least 10 sectors across North and South India.

Nokia, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya ink pact to collaborate on 5G/6G.

• Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and Nokia will conduct collaborative research on 5G/6G communications for logistics and transportation.
• The mou focuses on standards development, smart factory automation, AI labs, and transportation use cases for air, land, and sea.
• This MoU enhances GSV’s industry-driven approach to support the transportation sector with multidisciplinary education and research.

Sunita Williams Pilots Maiden Starliner Mission to ISS.

• Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams pilots Boeing’s Starliner on its first crewed mission to the International Space Station, marking her historic role as the first woman to pilot a spacecraft on its maiden voyage.
• The mission, launched from Cape Canaveral, aims to certify Starliner for regular ISS commutes, challenging SpaceX's Crew Dragon dominance.
