UP govt agrees for 2025 edition of MotoGP Bharat in Noida.

• MotoGP India will be held in Buddha Circuit, Greater Noida Gautam Buddha Nagar from 2025 to 2029.
• The Uttar Pradesh government will sign a contract with Dorna Sports and its Indian partner, Fairstreet Sports, to organize the MotoGP event in Noida.
• To organize the event through its Invest UP department, the state government will raise ₹80 crore.

Iga Świątek won Women’s Singles title in the French Open.

• Iga Swiatek wins her third consecutive French Open women’s title by defeating Jasmine Paolini.
• She is the first woman with three trophies in a row in Paris since Justine Henin from 2005 to 2007.
• Swiatek also won the French Open in 2020 and the U.S. Open in 2022.

Puja Tomar becomes first Indian to win in UFC.

• Puja Tomar made history as the first Indian to win a fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
• Puja defeated Brazil's Rayanne dos Santos at UFC Louisville 2024.
• Puja Hails from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
• Tomar has competed in other tournaments, including Matrix Fight Night, where she won the straw-weight title twice.

Nar Singh and Rohini won Dilip Bose lifetime achievement award.

• The All India Tennis Association has announced the Dilip Bose Award for lifetime achievement to coach Nar Singh and Rohini Lokhande.
