• Bengaluru-based MicrobioTx launched Personal Probiotics, India's first prebiotic and probiotic blend tailored to individual gut profiles, and GutChat, a free gut health-focused chatbot.
• These advancements aim to improve gut health by leveraging 15 years of research, providing personalized, affordable solutions for urban Indians suffering from gut issues.

Paraguay Becomes 100th Member Of The International Solar Alliance.

• Paraguay joins International Solar Alliance as 100th full member.
• Launched on 30 November 2015 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and President of France, H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron during COP21 in Paris, the ISA aims to accelerate the deployment of solar energy globally in support of Climate Action.

IISc Team Develops 3D Lung Model for Tuberculosis Research.

• Scientists at IISc have created a 3D hydrogel culture system mimicking human lungs, enhancing tuberculosis (TB) research by enabling detailed study of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection and drug efficacy.
• This 3D model, composed of collagen, allows for extended observation periods and more accurate biological resemblance to human lung tissue compared to traditional 2D models.

India received $120 billion in remittances in 2023.

• According to the World Bank report, India received USD 120 billion in remittances in 2023.
• China (USD 50 billion), the Philippines (USD 39 billion), and Pakistan (USD 27 billion) figure in top five countries list of remittances recipients.
• Remittance flows to India from the UAE, which accounts for 18 percent and is the second largest source of India’s remittances after the United States.

SSLV 1st Commercial Launch to Orbit Australia-Built Satellite in 2026.

• NSIL's SSLV will launch its first dedicated commercial mission, named Space MAITRI, in 2026, putting Australia's largest locally-designed satellite, Optimus, into orbit.
• The first commercial launch was Janus, a 10-kilogramme nanosatellite on board the SSLV-D2 mission.
