• The RIMPAC exercise is the world's largest naval exercise held in Pearl Harbor, USA, involving 29 countries led by the US Navy.
• Indian multi-role stealth frigate INS Shivalik, after participating in the India-Japan bilateral exercise JIMEX, is taking part, demonstrating India's naval capabilities.
• The exercise aims to enhance interoperability and build trust among multinational navies.

• The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is hosting the Global IndiaAI Summit on July 3-4, 2024, in New Delhi to advance ethical AI development.

Japan to Launch New Banknotes Featuring Advanced Holography.

• Japan will begin issuing new banknotes on July 3, 2024, featuring cutting-edge holography that makes historic portraits appear to rotate in 3D.
• The new banknotes include tactile marks to help visually impaired individuals discern denominations by touch.
• Nearly 7.5 billion new banknotes will be printed by the end of March 2025, with existing banknotes remaining valid after the introduction.

Bank of India receives Atal Pension Yojana Annual Award for FY2023-24.

• Bank of India (BOI) received the Atal Pension Yojana Annual Award for FY2023-24 and the APY Ultimate Champions Cup from PFRDA.
• Three BOI branches were recognized among the top five across India for APY enrolments.
• BOI-led SLBC Jharkhand and BOI-sponsored Regional Rural Banks were also awarded for their leadership and enrolment achievements.
