UPI Transactions Exceed Rs 20 Lakh Crore for 3rd Consecutive Month.

  • UPI transaction value surpassed Rs 20 lakh crore for the third month in July, reaching Rs 20.64 lakh crore, up from Rs 20.07 lakh crore in June.
  • The average daily transaction volume increased to 465 million, while the daily transaction value decreased slightly to Rs 66,590 crore.
  • Digital payments showed significant year-over-year growth, with UPI volumes up 49% and values up 35%.


NSDC Launches Women Entrepreneurship to Boost Women in Business.

  • National Skill Development Corporation has launched the Women Entrepreneurship Program, in partnership with Britannia, to empower about 2.5 million women.

ADB to provide $200M Loan for India's Solid Waste Management.

  • The Asian Development Bank signed a $200 million loan with the Indian government to enhance solid waste management and sanitation in 100 cities across eight states.

NPCI restored connectivity with C-Edge after ransomware attack.

  • NPCI reestablished connectivity with C-Edge Technologies after a ransomware attack by isolating impacted systems.
  • C-Edge, a joint venture between SBI and TCS, provides technology services to cooperative and regional rural banks.
  • Over 100 small banks were temporarily disconnected from NPCI’s network during the isolation period to prevent broader impact.


Srinagar Named "World Craft City" by World Crafts Council.
