MHA announced creation of five new districts in Ladakh UT.

• The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the creation of five new districts in Ladakh: Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang, raising the total number of districts in the Union Territory to seven.
• The decision came five years after Ladakh was made a Union Territory, following the revocation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir.

India to host 1st World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit in Goa.

• The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) will be held in Goa from November 20-25, 2024, to boost India's Media and Entertainment industry and its global impact.

India and Indonesia strengthened Anti-Terrorism collaboration.

• India and Indonesia met in Jakarta to enhance counter-terrorism cooperation, focusing on combating terrorism through emerging technologies and addressing terror financing.
• Both nations condemned the use of terrorist proxies, particularly related to Pakistan's support for terrorism in J&K.
• Discussions included collaboration in global forums like the UN and ASEAN to address terrorism.

RBI pilots Unified Lending Interface for seamless credit access.

• RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das announced that the RBI is piloting the Unified Lending Interface (ULI) to enable frictionless credit for smaller and rural borrowers. The platform will soon be launched nationwide.
• ULI aims to streamline credit appraisal by facilitating digital access to financial and non-financial data, including land records using standardized Application Programming Interfaces.
