Himachal Pradesh raised minimum marriage age for women to 21 years.

• The Himachal Pradesh State Assembly passed a Bill increasing the minimum marriage age for women from 18 to 21 years, aiming to promote gender equality and access to higher education.
• Introduced by Women Empowerment Minister Dhani Ram Shandil, the Bill amends the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, to address early marriage's impact on women's careers and physical development.

5-Year-Old Punjab Boy became youngest Asian to conquer Mt. Kilimanjaro.

• Teghbir Singh, a 5-year-old from Ropar, Punjab, has become the youngest Asian to scale Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 5,895 meters, equaling the world record held by a Serbian boy.
• Teghbir trained rigorously for nearly a year, overcoming altitude sickness, sub-zero temperatures, and a snowstorm during his trek, accompanied by his father and support crew.

IIM Bangalore Establishes Global PEVC Excellence Centre.

• IIM Bangalore partners with alumnus Mathew Cyriac to launch India's first Global Centre for Private Equity and Venture Capital.
