• India plans to boost exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to $1 billion in the coming years.
• Currently 40th in global alcoholic beverage exports, India aims to enhance its presence in markets like the UAE, Singapore, and Europe.
• APEDA is leading this effort as part of the Make in India initiative, with Diageo India launching Godawan single-malt whisky in the UK.

UP to Build Vedic-3D Museum in Varanasi.

• UP will construct a Vedic-3D museum at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi, focusing on Indian astrology, astronomy, and Vedic literature.
• The museum will highlight Vedic evolution, including the 16 Sanskars, 64 arts, and 18 Vidya Sthans, and aim to revive Shastrartha (spiritual discourse).
• CM Yogi Adityanath announced this during his visit to the university.

Chief Science Advisers’ Roundtable 2024 at UNESCO.

Telangana, TN Lead GSDP Growth Among Top Indian States.

• Telangana and Tamil Nadu top GSDP growth among the 10 largest states for FY24, with Telangana growing at 9.2% to reach real GSDP of ₹7.9 lakh crore and Tamil Nadu at 8.2% to reach ₹15.7 lakh crore in size.
• Rajasthan also saw significant growth at 8%, driven largely by the services sector.
• Maharashtra at ₹24.1 lakh crore real GSDP continues to be the largest economy in India.
