India launched its first fashion forecasting initiative: VisioNxt.

• Union Minister Shri Giriraj Singh launched India's first fashion forecasting initiative, VisioNxt, offering AI and Emotional Intelligence based trend insights to benefit fashion industry.
• Developed by NIFT with GoI support, the initiative provides India-specific fashion trends through the web portal and Fashion Trend Book Paridhi 24x25.
• The DeepVision AI model decodes fashion patterns.

India introduced shorter, effective treatment for drug-resistant TB.

• The Union Health Ministry approved the BPaLM regimen for Multi-Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB), combining Bedaquiline, Pretomanid, Linezolid, and Moxifloxacin.
• This new regimen, proven safer and more effective, shortens treatment time from 20 months to just 6 months, benefiting 75,000 drug-resistant TB patients.
• The move aligns with India's goal to eliminate TB by 2025.

• India and Singapore have elevated their relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership and signed agreements on semiconductor ecosystem collaboration, digital cooperation, healthcare, and education.
• The MoUs aim to support India's semiconductor industry, enhance digital interoperability, and promote joint healthcare research and skill development efforts.

Himachal Assembly to Introduce Zero Hour After SOPs Are Framed.

• Himachal Pradesh Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced that Zero Hour will be introduced in the assembly after establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Zero Hour will allow urgent public interest issues to be raised, with the Speaker having discretion over the issues discussed and responses provided.
