Rajasthan introduced medical education in hindi medium.

• Rajasthan now offers medical education in Hindi at Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College, Jodhpur, and Barmer Medical College, affiliated with Marwar Medical University.
• Starting from the 2024-25 academic session, students can choose between Hindi or English for their medical courses.
• The initiative aims to support students from rural or Hindi-medium backgrounds and will expand to other colleges.

PM Modi inaugurated 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor’s Meet.

• PM Modi inaugurated the 4th RE-INVEST Summit in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, celebrating India's achievement of over 200 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity.
• Modi emphasized India's commitment to a green future, being the 1st G-20 nation to meet its Paris climate goals.
• The summit highlights innovations in renewable energy with PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana aimed at making every home a power producer.

India's 1st Namo Bharat Rapid Rail connecting Ahmedabad, Bhuj launched.

• PM Modi launched Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, also known as Vande Metro, between Bhuj and Ahmedabad, covering 360 km in 5 hours and 45 minutes with stops at nine stations.
• It offers metro-like services, aiming to replace existing mainline EMUs on Indian Railways.
• With a top speed of 130 kmph, the Vande Metro can accommodate 1,150 seated and 2,058 standing passengers, featuring air-conditioning.

Aishwarya Rai won Best Actress (Critics) award at SIIMA 2024.

• Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actress (Critics) award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024 for her role as Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam.

• IBM and L&T Semiconductor Technologies (SiLT) have partnered to co-develop advanced processors for applications in edge devices, hybrid cloud systems, mobility, industrial, and energy sectors.
