Richest and Poorest Indian States: GDP Contribution 2024.

• Maharashtra remains the top GDP contributor, but its share dropped to 13.3%.
• Uttar Pradesh's GDP share fell to 9.5%, and Bihar contributed 4.3%. West Bengal saw a decline, contributing only 5.6% with its per capita income dropping to 83.7% of the national average.
