• The project aligns with India’s target to boost renewable energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030.

MBZUAI reveals Nanda, world’s most advanced Open-Source Hindi AI Model.

• Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has released Nanda, an advanced open-source Hindi large language model.
• Developed with G42’s Inception and Cerebras Systems, Nanda is a 10-billion parameter model, showcasing superior reasoning capabilities in Hindi compared to existing models.
• Trained on the Condor Galaxy supercomputer, Nanda is accessible to the public.

Ayodhya sets two Guinness World Records during Deepotsav 2024.

• At Deepotsav 2024, Ayodhya made history by setting two Guinness World Records: lighting over 25 lakh diyas on the banks of the Saryu River and organizing the largest mass diya rotation.
• A record 2,512,585 diyas illuminated the ghats, creating the world’s largest display of oil lamps.
• Festivities included laser shows, a sound-and-light Ram Leela presentation, and a drone show.

Himachal Pradesh’s Durgesh Aranya Zoo set for IGBC Certification.

• Durgesh Aranya Zoological Park at Bankhandi in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, is poised to become India’s first zoo to receive IGBC certification, reflecting eco-friendly and sustainable infrastructure.
• The project, with a ₹230 crore budget for its first phase, will cover 25 hectares.
• Approved by the Central Zoo Authority, the zoo will feature 34 enclosures, housing 73 animal species.

BSNL boosted connectivity with 50,000 indigenous 4G sites.
