• Hygenco Green Energies has launched India's largest renewable energy (RE) procurement tender for its Green Ammonia project, inviting bids for over 1.1 GW of renewable power.
• The company plans to procure 625 MW from solar PV projects and 500 MW from wind power.
• Hygenco has already commissioned India's first Green Hydrogen project in Hisar.

• The Cruise Bharat Mission aims to double cruise calls and passengers in 5 years, creating 4 lakh jobs in the cruise sector.
• It will develop cruise circuits to promote India’s cultural, historical & natural heritage globally.
• Three segments—Ocean & Harbour cruise, River & Island cruise, Island cruise—will be covered, with over 1.5 million river cruise passengers across 5,000 km of waterways.

Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin became first Woman DG of AFMS.

• Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin made history on October 1, 2024, becoming the 1st woman to take over as Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS).
