India's 1st modern Gaushala with Bio-CNG Plant inaugurated in MP.

  • PM Modi inaugurated India's first modern, self-reliant Lal Tipara Gaushala with a Bio-CNG plant in Gwalior, capable of producing 3 tonnes of natural gas daily from 100 tonnes of cow dung.
  • Developed with ₹32 crore from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)'s CSR fund, it also produces organic manure.
  • PM Modi also launched projects worth ₹685 crore under Swachh Bharat Mission and AMRUT Yojana.


PM E-DRIVE Scheme launched to accelerate EV adoption.

  • The Ministry of Heavy Industries launched the PM E-DRIVE Scheme at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, aimed at promoting electric vehicle (EV) adoption and establishing essential charging infrastructure across India.
  • The scheme has a financial outlay of ₹10,900 crore over two years and introduces e-vouchers for EV customers to avail of demand incentives, streamlining the purchase process.

  • Bihar CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Bapu Tower in Patna on Mahatma Gandhi's 155th birth anniversary.
  • The iconic structure features cylindrical and rectangular designs across five storeys.
  • The tower includes galleries depicting Mahatma Gandhi’s life, with a special section on his visit to Bihar and the Champaran Satyagraha.
  • It is spread across seven acres with a budget of ₹129 crore.

  • Nagaland has partnered with Wales for the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival, marking the conclusion of the year-long Wales in India 2024 celebration.
  • Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio aims to enhance bilateral ties, youth opportunities, and cultural exchanges through this collaboration.
  • Discussions for Nagaland students and artists to engage in Welsh universities and performances are underway.


Maharashtra Government declared indigenous cow as "Rajya Mata".

  • Under CM Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra State Government declared indigenous cows Rajya Mata to promote their welfare and support struggling goshalas.
  • A daily subsidy of ₹50 per cow will be provided to goshalas for the rearing of these cows, overseen by the Maharashtra Goseva Commission to reverse the declining indigenous cow population, which dropped by 20.69% according to the 2019 census.
