Abu Dhabi Crowned World’s Richest City by Sovereign Wealth Funds.

• Abu Dhabi has been declared the world's richest country in sovereign wealth funds, with an estimated $1.7 trillion in capital.
• It is followed closely by Oslo, Beijing, Singapore, Riyadh and Hong Kong.
• Oil was discovered in Abu Dhabi in the 1950s.
• Abu Dhabi is one of the world's top energy producers, owning 95% of the UAE's oil and 92% of its gas.

ISRO Chief S. Somnath Wins IAF World Space Award for Chandrayaan-3.

• ISRO Chief Dr. S. Somnath was awarded the prestigious International Astronautical Federation (IAF) World Space Award for the remarkable success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
• The award ceremony was held in Milan, Italy.
• Chandrayaan-3's historic landing near the Moon's South Pole marked India as the first nation to achieve this feat.

Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron Visits Bahrain and UAE.

• The Indian Naval Ship Tir and Indian Coast Guard Ship Veera arrived at Port of Manama, Bahrain, as part of the First Training Squadron's (1TS) Long Range Training Deployment in the Persian Gulf.
• The visit focuses on improving naval cooperation and interoperability between the Indian Navy and the Royal Bahrain Naval Forces (RBNF).
• Simultaneously, INS Shardul arrived at Port Rashid, Dubai.

India Launches Research Grants and EV Mission Under Anusandhan NRF.

• The Anusandhan National Research Foundation launched the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) and the Mission for Advancement in High-Impact Areas -Electric Vehicle (MAHA- EV) Mission.
• PMECRG focuses on supporting early career researchers in advancing India's scientific innovation.
• MAHA-EV Mission aims to strengthen research and development for EV components and infrastructure.

• Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized stronger India-Sweden cooperation in research and innovation.
• India ranked 39th globally and 1st in Central and Southern Asia in the Global Innovation Index (GII).
• Sweden, a global leader in innovation, remains a key partner in India's growth journey.
• The collaboration aligns with India's goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2070.
