• RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das received the A+ grade in Global Finance magazine’s 2024 Central Bank Report Cards, ranking him as the top central banker for the second year.
• The award evaluates success in inflation control, currency stability, growth goals, and interest rate management.
• Denmark's Christian Kettel Thomsen and Switzerland's Thomas Jordan also received A+ ratings.

PM Modi Showcases Indian Tribal Art at BRICS Summit.

• PM Modi presented Russia’s President Putin with a Sohrai painting from Jharkhand, a traditional art using natural pigments that symbolizes the region's indigenous culture.
• The President of Iran received a Mother of Pearl Sea Shell Vase, representing Maharashtra’s coastal craftsmanship.
• A Warli painting, one of India's oldest tribal art forms, was gifted to Uzbekistan’s President.

Akanksha Salunkhe Claims PSA Challenger Title in France.

• India’s Akanksha Salunkhe won her first PSA World Tour squash title of the year, defeating Malaysia’s Yasshmita Jadish Kumar in the final of the 2eme Open International Feminin de Couzeix/Limoges.
• Salunkhe’s best performance this year before this win was at the ACE Challenger Tour 12k, where she made the semi-finals.
• She will be in action next at the Malaysia Squash Cup starting November 12.

Indian Duo Wins Women's Doubles at WTT Feeder Cagliari 2024.

• In Table Tennis, India’s Yashaswini Ghorpade and Krittwika Roy clinched the women’s doubles title at the WTT Feeder Cagliari 2024 table tennis tournament in Italy.
• The Indian duo defeated the South Korean pair of Yoo Siwoo and Kim Haeun 3-1 in the final to capture the crown.
• The duo earned its place in the final with a 3-1 win over German fourth seeds Sophia Klee and Franziska Schreiner.

PM Modi to Inaugurate C-295 Military Aircraft Manufacturing Complex.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez will inaugurate the TATA Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, marking India's first private sector Final Assembly Line for military aircraft.
• The project will see collaboration between Tatas, public sector units like Bharat Electronics Ltd and Bharat Dynamics Ltd, and various private Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
