India Hosts South Asian Nations for Telecom Regulation Event.
- The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) hosted a multilateral event in New Delhi, gathering South Asian nations, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, the Maldives, and Iran.
- TRAI Chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti was appointed chair of SATRC for the upcoming year.
- The SATRC meeting was organized by the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT).

- Scarecrow Incorporated has acquired the world's first patent for Pinfenon (S) (R), a supplement designed to treat and prevent cardiac disorders in dogs, particularly those with mitral regurgitation.
- Pinfenon (S) (R) supplements are approved as drugs by the Japan Patent Office and will be applicable to products like food, shampoos, and essences.
Koreasat 6A Communications Satellite Successfully Launched.
- The Koreasat 6A communications satellite was launched successfully via SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
- Designed by Thales Alenia Space, South Korea’s satellite communications operator, Koreasat 6A is set to replace the existing Koreasat 6 satellite.
- The satellite, based on the Spacebus 4000B2 platform, will provide fixed and broadcast satellite services from its geostationary slot at 116° East.
