• Denmark ranks at the top (but technically 4th place), followed by the Netherlands and the UK.
• China, the world’s biggest emitter, ranks 55th and the USA at 57th place.
• Lowest-ranked countries: Iran (67th), Saudi Arabia (66th), UAE (65th), and Russia (64th)

Telangana government announces 100% tax exemption for electric vehicle.

• The Telangana government has announced a 100% exemption on road tax and registration fees for electric vehicles in the state, effective until 31 December 2026.
• The policy aims to promote sustainable transportation and reduce pollution, particularly in urban areas like Hyderabad.
• The exemption applies to a range of EVs, including Two-wheelers and four-wheelers, Three-wheelers, Electric buses.

Centre aims to make Andaman & Nicobar Islands a tuna export hub.
