Japan's Birth Rate Hits Record Low Again in 2024.

• Japan's births decline for the ninth consecutive year, hitting a historic low in 2024.
• In 2024, 720,988 babies were born in Japan, including to foreign nationals, down five percent from 758,631 in 2023, according to preliminary health ministry data.
• The number of births shrank to the lowest since government started tracking the data in 1899.

PM Modi Tops Global Approval Ratings in 2025.

• MeitY launched the Aadhaar Governance Portal to streamline Aadhaar authentication approvals, following amendments to the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance Rules, 2025.
• The portal enhances service delivery & governance benefiting sectors like healthcare, education, e-commerce & hospitality.
• It offers step-by-step guidance for entities, enables face authentication, & simplifies e-KYC.

Jahan-e-Khusrau 2025 Celebrates 25 Years of Sufi Heritage.

• Jahan-e-Khusrau 2025, marking its 25th anniversary, is being held from February 28 to March 2 at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi.
• Curated by Muzaffar Ali, the festival celebrates Sufi music, poetry, and spiritual heritage, featuring global and Indian artists.
• Organized by the Rumi Foundation with support from Delhi Tourism, ONGC, and IOC, PM Narendra Modi attended the event on February 28.
