India Hosts First Regional Dialogue on Social Justice.

• Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the first-ever Regional Dialogue on Social Justice in New Delhi.
• The event will be organized by the Labour Ministry, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) & Employers’ Federation of India (EFI).
• The event, part of the Global Coalition for Social Justice by ILO, will focus on responsible businesses, employment & inclusivity in Asia-Pacific.

DPIIT Signs MoU with Rukam Capital to Boost Startups.

• Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has signed an MoU with Rukam Capital to support startups in prototype development & international expansion.
• The partnership will provide startups with infrastructure, mentor networks, funding opportunities & market linkages.
• DPIIT aims to foster innovation by combining industry expertise, capital mentorship for market-ready solutions.

JioHotstar Launched After JioCinema & Disney+ Hotstar Merger.

• JioStar, a Viacom18-Star India venture, launched JioHotstar, merging JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar to serve 50 crore users.
• With AI-driven recommendations, 19 language support, and 3 lakh hours of content, it offers Hollywood titles from Disney, HBO, and Paramount.
• Subscription plans start at ₹149 per quarter, ensuring a seamless transition for existing users.

Rajasthan Renames British-Era Landmarks in Ajmer.

• The Rajasthan government has renamed Ajmer’s Foy Sagar lake as Varun Sagar and King Edward Memorial Bhawan as Maharishi Dayanand Vishrant Grih.
• Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that the renaming aims to remove colonial-era symbol.
• Ajmer Municipal Corporation has issued official orders, and plans are underway to build a ghat and a statue of Lord Varun near the lake.

ADNOC Gas Signs $7-9 Billion LNG Deal with Indian Oil.

• ADNOC Gas finalized a 14-year agreement to supply up to 1.2 million tonnes of LNG annually to Indian Oil Corporation starting in 2026.
• The deal, valued between $7 billion and $9 billion, supports India's goal of increasing gas usage to 15% of its energy mix by 2030.
• LNG will be sourced from ADNOC Gas’s Das Island facility, which has delivered over 3,500 LNG cargoes since inception.
