IAF Joined INIOCHOS-25 Air Exercise in Greece.

• The Indian Air Force participated in Exercise INIOCHOS-25 in Greece from March 31 to April 11, 2025, with Su-30 MKI fighters and support aircraft.
• The biennial multinational exercise aims to enhance air force skills, tactical knowledge, and international cooperation among 15 countries.
• IAF aims to improve operational capabilities and strengthen strategic defense partnerships.

Narender Berwal To Lead India At World Boxing Cup In Brazil.

• Asian Games bronze medallist Narender Berwal will headline a 10-member Indian men's boxing team at the inaugural World Boxing Cup in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil.
• This tournament marks the first event hosted by World Boxing since receiving provisional recognition from the International Olympic Committee in February and the inclusion of boxing in the 2028 LA Olympics.

Centre appoints Nidhi Tewari as PM Modi's private secretary.

• Nidhi Tewari has been appointed as the private secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
• Tewari has been serving as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) since November 2022.
• She hails from Mehmurganj in Varanasi.
• Till now, the Prime Minister has had two Private Secretaries – Vivek Kumar and Hardik Satishchandra Shah.

India, Japan Signed ¥191.73 Bn Loan Deal for 6 Projects.

• India and Japan inked loan deals worth ¥191.73 billion for six development projects across water, transport, forestry, and aquaculture.
• Major projects include TN Investment Promotion Phase 3, Delhi Metro Phase 4, and Chennai Desalination Plant II.
• The funding falls under Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) to India.

Gaia Mission Ends After Mapping 2 Billion Stars.

• The European Space Agency’s Gaia mission ended on Jan 15, 2025, after 12 years, due to the depletion of cold gas propellant.
• Gaia created the most detailed 3D map of the Milky Way, revealing galactic collisions, star clusters, and black holes.
• Launch Date: December, 2013.
• Operational Orbit: Gaia operates around the Sun-Earth L2 Lagrange point, approximately 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.
